Just saw this info in the SLO County Park website: Effective October 1, 2006, San Luis Obispo County Parks is pleased to announce new management of Coastal Dunes RV Park. (formerly Sand & Surf RV Park)

This park is a timeshare park. They claim they offer site specific reservations, but they do not honor this claim. I made my reservations 6 months in advanced and I was shoved into a tiny narrow site because a timeshare owner wanted my specific site. Also, you must learn to lie about the size of your rig. If you have a tent trailer, you are going to get the smallest and narrowest site. If you have a huge gas guzzling diesel pusher, then you will get the largest site available under the shade trees. I think they should charge half the price for the sites that are half the size. Not fair!
